Beverly, the surfy garage-rock project of Drew Citron (vox/guitar) and Scott Rosenthal (bass) has been a staple in the Brooklyn music scene for years. We were thrilled to welcome them to our Brooklyn X Brooklyn live sessions to perform two songs, a new track titled “Crooked Cop,” and a cover of The Drums’ “Best Friend.” Joined live by guitarist Johnny Aries (the Drums) and drummer Gillian Avina, Beverly gave a crowd pleasing, furniture jumping turn at Braund Studios.

Enjoying a smashing release of “Careers,” their debut record, out on Kanine, Beverly has toured the US, supporting outfits like the Drums and headlining their own bills. Next for the band is working on a new record, and taking on a summer tour.
