In the interest of keeping you all up-to-date on our favorite food happenings, here’s a short rundown of local food news from the week.

Tomorrow, August 23, Sycamore Flower Shop & Bar in Ditmas Park will host a backyard clam bake. Trays of clams and a glass of beer or wine will set attendees back $25. Buy tickets for the 3pm or 5pm seatings here. [Sycamore]

The folks behind Hell’s Kitchen wine bar, Ardesia, are bringing a wine bar called The Camlin to 175 Kent Avenue in Williamsburg. The bar is slated to open in September. [Eater]

We shined a spotlight on chef Rob Newton’s new casual Southern eatery, Wilma Jean, and the Carroll Gardens switcheroo and closing that had to take place to make it all work. [BK Mag]

Blind Barber, the new-ish barbershop/bar in Williamsburg, now has $2 Taco Tuesdays every week from 5pm – 1opm. Choose from vegetarian, pastrami-ruben, and ground turkey tacos while getting a trim. [Brokelyn]

Yuji Ramen (formerly of Whole Foods fame) will live to serve ramen another day, bringing a twice-weekly pop-up to Williamsburg’s Okonomi every Monday and Tuesday from 11 am to 11pm. The pop-up is walk-in only. [Grub Street]

Down in Park Slope, wine bar Terroir closed its doors for good on Monday after about two years in business. The space was purchased in June, but the new owner is unknown. [Eater]

Elsewhere in the neighborhood, a group of Park Slope teens invented a new app called Push For Pizza, which allows users to automatically order pizza with the push of a button. [BK Mag]

Starting at 2pm tomorrow at Mary’s Bar (708 Fifth Avenue), local historian and writer Connor Gaudet will host a pub crawl through South Slope and Gowanus to commemorate the 1776 Battle of Brooklyn. The tour is free, the drinks ain’t. [Brokelyn]

Last week, Bushwick became home to the Boobie Trap, a boob-themed bar that also serves BBQ. Drink deals include $3 wells and $25 pitchers of sangria and margaritas from 4pm to 8pm. [BK Mag]

On August 28 at 8pm, Caroline Fidanza of Saltie’s will drop by Greenpoint’s Achilles Heel to host a super affordable curry night (dishes will go for $9-$12) inspired by London’s curry scene. No reservations are required. [Eater]

Here’s a great preview (lots of food porn!) of all the dishes that will debut at new beer hall Berg’n in Crown Heights when it opens next week on August 27. [Grub Street]

Park Slope’s dessert cafe, Chocolate Room, will move to a larger space at 51 Fifth Avenue this moth following a ridiculous rent hike by their landlord. [Brownstoner]

Tonight, the owners of Skinny Dennis will open a new “bad-boy uncle basement bar” called Rocka Rolla in Williamsburg at 486 Metropolitan Avenue near Rodney Street. And with $3 18 0z. Schooner glasses of Bud, it’s almost as much of a dive as its parent bar. [Gothamist

On August 27, Sam Mason of Oddfellows Ice Cream and formerly of  wd~50 will take over the “Native Cuisiner” dinner series at River Styx in Greenpoint. Mason will cook a $66 meal inspired by Rhode Island cuisine. Email to make a reservation. [Eater]
