Down in Park Slope, wine bar Terroir closed its doors for good on Monday after about two years in business. The space was purchased in June, but the new owner is unknown. [Eater]

Tonight, the owners of Skinny Dennis will open a new “bad-boy uncle basement bar” called Rocka Rolla in Williamsburg at 486 Metropolitan Avenue near Rodney Street. And with $3 18 0z. Schooner glasses of Bud, it’s almost as much of a dive as its parent bar. [Gothamist]
On August 27, Sam Mason of Oddfellows Ice Cream and formerly of wd~50 will take over the “Native Cuisiner” dinner series at River Styx in Greenpoint. Mason will cook a $66 meal inspired by Rhode Island cuisine. Email info@riverstyx.com to make a reservation. [Eater]
