Mast Brothers Chocolate Expanding To London

While rumors circulate that Brooklyn Brewery may be eyeing Asia for their next project, we have actual confirmation that another Williamsburg-bred business is definitely going international. This year, Mast Brothers Chocolate will head to London to open a brand new factory.
According to Inc., founders Michael and Rick Mast have recently broken ground on a location in Shoreditch, London, which just so happens to be the U.K.’s version of Williamsburg. Stick with what you know, right? The new outpost is meant to serve their European customers, who have had access to Mast Bros. chocolate for quite some time, but not as a local manufacturer.
There’s no word yet on when the factory will open, but the Mast brothers will fly back and forth before and even after it’s production-ready. And if all that traveling makes them a bit homesick, they can always drop by any one of the UK’s 900 J D Wetherspoon pubs for a cold Sixpoint. Best of luck, gentlemen.
