Oh, Brooklyn. Keep on doing you.

Today in so-Brooklyn-it-couldn’t-be-more-Brooklyn news, we’ve come across an announcement from the folks behind Get Up And Ride that they’ll soon launch a really cool bi-weekly biking supper club called “A Bikeable Feast.”

Starting on May 17, and taking place every other Saturday through October, the bike tour/supper club will take 10 attendees on a nice, scenic ride from Williamsburg to Greenpoint. According to a preview from Get Up & Ride, the 90-minute ride (designed for cyclists of all experience levels) will feature “hidden urban parks and expansive waterfront sunset vistas…perfectly suited for the adventurous foodie who has seen enough of tired restaurants.”

Post-ride, private chef Shane McGarvey will prepare a four-course meal, drinks included, at an organic farm carefully tucked away in Williamsburg. Everything will be locally-sourced, of course.

Here’s a sample menu:

Course One – Snack plate
Grilled baguette, country pate, cornichons, Abequina olives and mixed shoots

Course Two – Salad

Grilled radicchio wedge, wild arugula, buttermilk ramp ranch dressing, Benton’s bacon bits and toasted sunflower seeds

Course Three – Main

Orzo w/ lemon zest and parsley, grilled kale, spring onion and green garlic, grilled chicken and octopus with lemon thyme vinaigrette

Course Four – Dessert

Grilled peach with rosemary, Vermont maple glaze, whipped cream with shaved Mast brothers chocolate

If this sounds like the supper club for you, feel free to purchase tickets here.
