The Barclays Center Game Of Thrones Event Sold Out In Less Than An Hour

Yesterday, we shared the news that an “epic” Game of Thrones fan experience was going down at Barclays Center on March 20. Tickets officially went on sale at 10 a.m. this morning and to no one’s surprise, the event sold-out in approximately 43 minutes because GOT fans don’t mess around.
7 HELLS! The #GoTSeason4 advanced screening for Season 4, Ep. 1 is now sold out. Congrats to the 7000 fans who usurped their tickets!

Tickets probably would have sold out much earlier, but for the first five minutes or so there was a system hiccup and only special NYU Student Section tickets were available because, of course, NYU students get preference.
In any case, the evening of “special surprises,” which includes an advanced screening of the Season 4 premiere, a chance to get your picture taken with the Iron Throne and a look at prop displays and costumes, will take place two weeks from now at 7 p.m. Attendees will be required to surrender all electronic devices before entering the arena. Those who fail to do so will be forced to take the black.
And for those of you who weren’t able to get tickets or have no interested in gathering with 6,999 other nerds (not an insult since yours truly will be there), Season 4 will officially premiere at 9 p.m. on April 6 on HBO.
