How to Stay Warm When It’s So Cold You Want to Die
Snuggling
This suggestion comes courtesy of Virginia Smith because I would never suggest snuggling (I’d rather freeze in a doorway like poor little Keshia Knight Pulliam in the version of “The Little Match Girl” that I watched approximately a million times as a child and maybe have even watched once or twice as an adult) but it is a good suggestion because, body heat. Which, remember watching “The Voyage of the Mimi” in 5th grade science class and having just a little bit of a crush on little, blond Ben Affleck and then he grew up to be big Ben Affleck and you just didn’t feel the same anymore, but still remembered how everyone on that ill fated sea trip almost died of hypothermia but avoided death by snuggling with each other? Well, so definitely snuggle. You’ll warm up almost immediately. Or at least your body will. I don’t know what kind of shape your cold, cold heart is in.
