Yet Another Teenager Was Senselessly Shot In Brooklyn

For no reason better than some vague dispute about stolen electronics, 17-year-old Darius Robinson was shot and killed when a gunman opened fire into a crowd at a Crown Heights barbecue early this morning.

Police are still looking for the shooter, who pulled up in a black SUV outside a building on Saint Marks Ave. near Nostrand, fired off a few rounds, and took off. Currently, it's not known if Robinson was even his intended victim.

The incident, of course, comes after a string of horrible shootings this summer, and Mayor Bloomberg's increasingly vocal support of tighter gun control laws.

As for us, we'll be hiding under a pillow and weeping for the rest of the month.
