Dining Solo? 10 of The Best Places in Brooklyn to Eat Dinner at the Bar
Sel de Mer
One of Williamsburg’s most low-key, reliable, and generally under-the-radar restaurants, Sel de Mer’s main attraction, at least to me, has always been as a place to get an order of moules frites and a glass of white wine without breaking the bank. It’s the perfect meal to have by yourself if you don’t quite feel like going home and throwing together whatever’s in your fridge, and with their friendly, generally chatty staff and a spacious bar that actually does sort of look like it might be made of old driftwood, the perfect place to eat it.
