Day of the Dead Dining Guide
Gran Electrica: They don’t need to do much to outfit this DUMBO restaurant up for El Dia de los Muertos (see the custom-designed wallpaper, featuring grinning cadavers cavorting in Brooklyn-inspired tableaus). The skeletal stroller pushers, dog walkers and carousel riders provide the perfect backdrop for Day of the Dead dinner service and custom cocktails, served from 6-10:30pm on October 31st. Take to the streets afterwards for a full-out celebration, featuring a traditional Mexican brass marching band, makeup stations, music from DJ Kimiko and moonlit dancing under the Brooklyn Bridge.
