Had your fill of candy corn, slutty SpongeBob SquarePants costumes, Freddy vs. Jason reruns and the Monster Mash? As long as we’re in the habit of liberally borrowing from other cultures’ holiday traditions (see Oktoberfest, St. Patrick’s Day and Cinco de Mayo), why not shake your celebrations up a bit — and keep the morbid momentum going — by embracing the Day of the Dead this year?
