Celebrate The Start Of The Holiday Season At The “Light Up Brooklyn Commons” Event
Pull out the tinsel, good cheer, a snuggly scarf and soft mittens, because it’s time to get festive.
Celebrate the start of the holiday season while enjoying a variety of festive outdoor activities at the Light Up Brooklyn Commons event—presented by Brookfield Properties—and join the cheerful revelry on Wednesday, November 30 from 5:30 to 7pm at Brooklyn Commons.
Step into the season and explore an array of holiday delights. Attendees can explore an exhibition of exquisitely carved ice sculptures by the talented New York-based Okamoto Studio, behold a joyful performance by Brooklyn United, sample holiday treats, drink hot apple cider, and watch with wonder as Santa lights the treasured Brooklyn Commons Christmas tree. There will also be ice skating at The Rink at Brooklyn Commons during the time of the event.
This event is free and open to the public, and will take place in Brooklyn Commons Park, located outside of 100 Myrtle Ave in Downtown Brooklyn. For a map and directions, click here.
