You Have To Watch Young Thug’s META AF Video For “Wyclef Jean”

Well, there’s an extremely early frontrunner for 2017’s best music video, and it only features the performing artist in brief glimpses. The video for Young Thug’s “Wyclef Jean,” one of the best songs on his fantastic project Jeffery that came out last fall, had a budget of $100,000, and is unlike any music video you’ve ever seen before.

Ryan Staake, who works for Pomp&Clout and ‘co-directed’ the video with Thugger himself, provides the video with a stream of commentary through his text and scribbles throughout, and… well, I don’t want to say much more. Young Thug continues to be the precise winning combination of eccentric, exciting, and oh-so-confounding. Check the video out below:
