Brooklyn Bazaar To Re-Open In New Three Story Space On September 9th
Think of it as a trade. As one music venue exits, another returns: the Brooklyn Bazaar will make its grand re-opening on September 9th, in the Greenpoint space previously occupied by Polonaise Terrace.
Located on Greenpoint Ave, the space will be home to three levels, four different bars, a basement arcade with ping pong, mini-golf, and karaoke, along with a full-service restaurant and a 400-capacity music venue that will be ticketed on some occasions— and that includes the venue’s opening weekend, which will see shows from Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and Pissed Jeans. Other acts appearing during the venue’s first month include I Am The Avalanche, Ted Leo, and Self Defense Family, among others.
The Bazaar originally closed down last year, while the Polonaise Terrace had been shuttered since 2013. Back in March, we had a first look inside the venue; Gothamist posted an inside look with photos as well.
Check out the venue’s menus, planned events, and more on its official website.
