Dance Magic: Celebrate 30 Years Of Labyrinth With Shea Stadium Cover Show

David Bowie’s excellent 26th album ★ is out today, January 8th, a day that also happens to be his 69th birthday. But another big anniversary involving The Thin White Duke is coming this year — the 30th anniversary of the cult classic film “Labyrinth.”
To celebrate, All Ages Press founder Brenna Ehrlich and Dave Lucas of the band Twiga, have teamed up to throw the show at Shea Stadium on Saturday May 21. An unannounced bevy of local bands will be covering songs from the soundtrack, while the film plays behind projected onstage. Stay tuned for more information as the date approaches.
