Daylight Shooting in Bed-Stuy: Suspect Still at Large

A man walking in front of a Bed-Stuy deli at 3:44 p.m. yesterday abruptly turned around to start firing shots down the street in broad daylight, DNAinfo reports. For about six seconds, the gunman calmly kept shooting and walking backwards before ultimately fleeing the scene. His bullets missed his intended target in this drug-related shootout and hit a 50-year-old man in the shoulder and the armpit instead. The victim was transported by EMS to an area hospital and is currently in stable condition. The suspect is still at large.
The suspect is about 5’5″ tall and weighs about 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a brown, hooded sweatshirt and brown sweatpants.
