Brooklyn Version of Cards Against Humanity In the Works
Though the Brooklyn-specific board or card game closest to our hearts has to be the Bushwick Board Game, there might be room for this: Cards Against Brooklyn, a proposed unofficial “expansion pack” for the party game Cards Against Humanity. For those unfamiliar with Cards Against Humanity: Imagine Apples to Apples where a possible answer was “waking up half-naked in a Denny’s parking lot.”
The expansion is being funded through Kickstarter by Long Islander Michael Sarrantonio, who’s seeking $1000 for production. Backers will get first dibs at the new 54-card pack, which features questions like “What does the R train smell like?” and answers that include “the ghost of Biggie Smalls” and “Gentrification.” He’s also created Long Island and NYC themed expansions. And if you pledge $50, you can send Sarrantonio your own idea for a card. “If it sucks, I’ll send you your money back,” he wrote.
