Prospect Park Carousel Opens Thursday

The weather might not be cooperating but late March technically counts as spring. Which means that one of the harbingers of the season is coming on Thursday: the opening of the Prospect Park Carousel, where $2 and a dream can buy you a whirl around the park on the back of a wooden animal. BYO-Cotton Candy, though.
This season, you’ll be able to ride on ye olde carousel between 12 and 5 pm on Thursdays through Sunday, until June 29. It’s $2 a pop or 5 for $9, or free if you’re part of the Prospect Park Alliance. It’s right near the B/Q Prospect Park entrance, in the Children’s Corner. But you know, if you want to ride as an adult that’s cool too. We will be.
