Beloved Van Missing In Crown Heights

In Brooklyn’s very own version of Dude, Where’s My Car, a Crown Heights resident seems to have, um, misplaced their ride. Some poor Brooklynite has been posting flyers like the one above in an attempt to seek out the whereabouts of their 1995 Chevy G20, which disappeared from Brooklyn Avenue sometime in January.
“I bought this van in 2009 with my last $1200 and a dream,” the flyer reads. “I’ve used it since to take dozens of artists across the entire USA, sharing stories about freedom, survival, resistance and hope. She drives slow, guzzles gas, and is my heart’s home. Please help me find my dream van.”
