Lest you thought 2015 would bring an end to the flurry of business closings that shadowed the already dark year of 2014, Franklin Avenue’s beloved Rosebud Vintage will be shuttering its doors on January 31st. The store announced that it would be closing via Facebook back in December, but, you know, what with all of the other closings happening and the general end-of-year-then-beginning-of-year madness, we forgot about it till today, when we realized there’s less than ten days to shop at this beautifully curated, jewel box of a shop. So go pay a visit while you can and see if you can’t find something lovely to buy—everything from furniture to clothing to the store’s decor is currently for sale. And don’t despair too much if you can’t make it over to the shop before the 31st; Rosebud Vintage will also have a booth at the Manhattan Vintage Show on February 6th and 7th. Ah, but what are we talking about: Get yourself over to the Crown Heights shop, and do your part to celebrate one of the borough’s best small vintage shops while you still can.
