Innovation in Craft Beer: The Power of Community (Video, Part 2)
Alright! As promised in this space yesterday, we’re back with the second and final installment of our video series exploring innovation in craft brewing. We’ve already covered the developments in the science behind brewing, and today we’ll discuss the role community has played in transforming the local craft beer scene into one that’s getting the attention of people all over the country.
Remember, this is all leading up to an event we’re hosting next Tuesday, 1/20, at Brooklyn Brewery, as part of our Northside Innovation series. The them for the night is Innovation in Craft Beer: How Entrepreneurs are Transforming the Beverage Industry, and it will feature presentations by Untappd co-founder Greg Avola, BeerMenus.com co-founder Eric Stephens, plus a panel discussion featuring Joe Grimm of Grimm Artisanal Ales, Basil Lee of Finback Brewery, and Steve Hindy, co-founder of Brooklyn Brewery. The event is invite-only, but we’ll be choosing six of you to come join us for a few hours of good conversation about our favorite drink. Just email us with some of the specific topics you’d like to see discussed, and we very well may be in touch.
