Berg’n (Finally!) Opens On August 27

Earlier this month, we shared a list of ten restaurants and bars we can’t wait to open their doors and at the top of our list was Berg’n, the forthcoming beer hall and food court from the folks behind Smorgasburg, whose opening had been delayed by three months. Well, no longer: Berg’n officially opens its doors at the end of August.

According to Grub Street, the official opening date is Wednesday, August 27. And as many of you know, Berg’n will feature many heavy-hitting Smorgasburg alums, including Asia Dog, Mighty Quinn’s BBQ, Ramen Burger and Pizza Moto. On top tap of that, the 9,000-square-foot beer hall will feature more than a dozen, well-curated beers on draft (as far as we can tell).

There’s no word yet on said beer selection, but that’s okay. We’re just glad to know that we’ll be able to check it out with our own eyes very, very soon. We natives were getting restless.

Berg’n: 899 Bergen Street, Crown Heights
