Can’t Hardly Wait: 10 Bars and Restaurants Opening In Brooklyn This Fall
9. An As-Yet-Unnamed Jazz Club
Coming To: Bed-Stuy
Our final Manhattan import comes from the guys behind TriBeCa’s Silver Lining jazz club, which closed last summer following “irreconcilable differences with the landlord.” Co-owners Joseph Schwartz, Vito Dieterle and Matthew Clarke chose Bed-Stuy as the site of their next endeavor, due in no small part to the neighborhood’s rich jazz history. The new venture will feature nightly jazz (curated by Dieterle, an accomplished saxophonist) along with cocktails, small plates, and a sizable beer selection. What’s more, it’ll all be much more affordable than Silver Lining was. Look out for a fall opening.
