Brooklyn Flea Will Host An Ice Cream Festival This Month
Let’s be honest: July is the real beginning of summer in the city. Once the month kicks off, you know you won’t need a jacket for the next two months and that you’d better bring a cold bottle of water for your commute lest you die in some underground station far from home. Well, Brooklyn Flea really gets it and have blessed Brooklyn with the Creme de la Creme ice cream festival scheduled for later this month.
On July 19 and 20, the Flea will bring more than 10 vendors and 50-plus flavors to the Fort Greene and Williamsburg Fleas, respectively. Here’s the all-star lineup (which includes plenty of vegan, lactose intolerant and non-ice cream options):
Alchemy Creamery
Blue Marble Ice Cream
Butter & Scotch
Fort Grace
Hay Rosie
La Newyorkina
Monsieur Singh
Morgenstern’s Finest
Odd Fellows
People’s Pops
Phin & Phebe’s
Steve’s
The Good Batch
Victory Garden
Williamsburg Flea is located at 50 Kent Ave. between N. 11th and N. 12th Streets and open on Sundays. Fort Greene Flea is located at 176 Lafayette Ave. between Clermont and Vanderbilt Aves and open on Saturdays. Both markets are open from 10 am to 5 pm.
