Another Flea Market Is Coming to Williamsburg
Starting July 5, there’ll be even more stuff to buy in Williamsburg. Hooray! Flea Market Betty is coming to Havemeyer Street, along with its fifty proposed food, clothing and craft vendors.
As the self-proclaimed “newest addition to the Flea Market Craze,” Flea Market Betty, the real-person version of whom is real estate broker Jill Pescatore, hopes to attract “local residents as well as the influx of travelers who are touring the bustling neighborhood,” according to Bedford + Bowery. She’s also working on getting outdoor concerts and holiday-themed vendors to the market this year.
Located on two empty lots at Havemeyer and Metropolitan Aves, it’ll be up-and-running Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 5pm starting July 5 through December. Wanna sell your stuff? Betty is still taking applications.
