Preview: New Menus At Videology and Baby’s All Right
With spring officially underway, you’re sure to see a lot of menus getting major makeovers. After all, this is seasonal, locally-sourced Brooklyn.
This week, two new menus dropped, including a new “gourmet” theater food menu from Videology and a freshly-minted spring menu from Baby’s All Right. Here’s what South Williamsburg-ers and visitors to the area can expect:
Let’s start with Videology: Last week, the video store and bar debuted a new line of gourmet eats, which we had the distinct pleasure of sampling. We give 10s to the “Fully Loaded” Dog, a hotdog topped with Hudson Valley duck and beans, smoked cheddar cheese sauce picked house pepper relish, and the Nachos, which feature pickled ramps and sundried tomato salsa. Here’s the full rundown:
Flavored Popcorn – Cheddar or Chili-Lime Tequila

Down the street (and under the Williamsburg Bridge) at Baby’s All Right, chef Ronald Murray has whipped up a slew of seasonally-driven dishes, including green tomato gazpacho, black truffle gnocchi, blue crab, thai fried chicken and the belle of the ball, a made-to-order suckling pig roasted for 12 hours that serves 8 to 15 people.

Soups and Salads
- Green Tomato Gazpacho: Green tomato, cucumber, onion, garlic, avocado, roast tomato oil, marjoram
- Parsnip Soup: Roast parsnips and cauliflower, Caramelized Brussels sprouts, parsnip chips
- Ancient Grains: Black Kale, quinoa, wheat berries, barley, sprouts, basil chia seed dressing
- Nordic Salad: Green kale, pearled barley, fennel, radish, dill, carrots, snow pea shoots
- Warm Mushroom salad: Confit beech, shiitake, and oyster mushrooms, arugula, pine nut dressing
- Lady’s Salad: Boston Bibb Lettuce, chives, shaved beets, champagne vinaigrette
