We may have finally won the battle against unwanted subway grinding, which was just made illegal last month (!!), but the war against pervs and monsters is a long one, and police are now looking for a man who forcibly and “repeatedly” groped a woman on the L train.
The 28-year-old victim managed to snap the above photo of the man after the incident, which happened last week around rush hour, and police describe him as “40-50 years old, 5’5″-5’6″, and 200 lbs, with a mustache. He was last seen wearing a black and gray baseball cap, and a grey hooded sweater,” writes Gothamist.
Anyone with information can submit tips to www.nypdcrimestoppers.com, or even text them to 274637 (CRIMES), with code TIP577. A reminder, unfortunately, to look out for yourselves and each other on the commute (or anywhere, really), and probably a good time to draw inspiration from one of the city’s all-time great subway heroes:
