Out In The Streets Festival Returning To Bushwick/Ridgewood In July

Coachella is a mere 10 days away, which means that the summer music festival season is nearly upon us. While music festivals can be somewhat stressful for the cities who host them and the people who attend them, we have to admit we couldn’t live without them. Speaking of which, have you bought your Northside Festival badge yet?!
Anyway, the organizers behind one of Brooklyn/Queens’ most affordable festivals, Out In The Streets, announced this year’s dates today. The event will take place from July 26 to 27 and feature local bands, art and food trucks in a field outside Ridgewood’s historic Onderdonk House (which is worth visiting for non-festival reasons any time).
While ticket prices haven’t been announced yet, passes were only $20 last year, which is a freakin’ deal if you ask us. All we’re saying is there was a time when Governor’s Ball was a small(er) one-day festival and you gotta appreciate things while they’re still kind of small, right?
