Quick, Snag This Apartment In a Bushwick Mansion

Unclear how many of you are actually apartment-hunting right now (February’s a pretty bleak time for this kind of thing) but hey, it’s the end of the month, and Brownstoner managed to dig up a pretty great find: a 1-bedroom renting out for $1,750 at 670 Bushwick Ave., the historic building known as both Cook Mansion and the Catherina Lipsius House. The place was commissioned in 1890 by local beer tycoons, back when Brooklyn was a major brewing hub (sigh).
History aside, the place looks like a pretty great deal (you can see more photos on Craigslist), and includes its own balcony. Maybe even ghosts? Unclear about the ghosts. Anyway, get it while it’s hot.
