Brooklyn Brewery: Coming To A College Campus Near You

Okay, actually Brooklyn Brewery’s only coming to one college campus and that’s the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY.
According to Brew York, the company plans to open an on-campus brewery in Summer 2015 that will be made available for classes. Brewmaster Garrett Oliver & The Gang will come by regularly to help faculty with brewing and lesson planning. CIA juniors and seniors majoring in Advanced Wine, Beverage and Hospitality will head up day-to-day operations/party hard (we kid). More realistically, they’ll learn the ins-and-outs of beer science and “bridge the gap in beer education that has seemingly kept beer playing second-fiddle in fine dining.”
