Eat Food From Talde and Roberta’s, Raise Money For Typhoon Victims
In light of the ongoing devastation in the Philippines in the wake of Typhoon Haiyan, Dale Talde has helped round up a bunch of local chefs and restaurants to put together “Taste 4 the Philippines,” as massive, delicious food event and silent auction to be held the evening of December 4th at The Green Building in Gowanus. Tickets are on sale for $125, and all proceeds go to World Vision, an organization that’s been providing emergency assistance. But what’ll that get you?
Oh, just food from Roberta’s, Toro, Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, Pig and Khao, Pork Slope, and Talde, washed down with adult beverages Brooklyn Brewery and Wayland. In other words, something you’d gladly shell out for any night of the week, good cause or no. So by all means, go forth, eat, and contribute ((there’s an option to donate even if you can’t attend, too).
