Day of the Dead Dining Guide
Fonda: Esteemed Mexican chef Roberto Santibanez now has two Park Slope places to ring in the Day of The Dead; start with small bites and drinks at his new slip of a 7th Avenue eatery, La Botaneria, and then head to his seminal restaurant, Fonda, for a full-out celebration. They’ve extended the holiday until Nov. 7th this year, so expect a weeks worth of menu additions inspired by the sovereign state of Tlaxcala, along with stone ground hot chocolate served with orange blossom-scented sweet rolls, and live music from Mariachi Tapatio de Alvaro Paulino.
