5 Places in Brooklyn That May or May Not Be Haunted

By Virginia K. Smith

The Gravesend House from Paranormal Witness

As a rule of thumb for all this stuff, if it’s ever been covered on the SyFy channel, we can more or less assume it to be the truth. So, this house in Gravesend: unquestionably the home of numerous ghosts, including but not limited to “a bride who mysteriously died in the home’s attic and still wore her wedding dress,” as one former owner long suspected and later had confirmed by “experts” on Paranormal Witness. Its current owner, however, hasn’t experienced any such phenomena, and told the Daily News, ““We renovated [the house] and that must have took [the ghosts] out.” Which, nice to know that’s an effective method, should it ever come up. [Photo]
