The 10 Best Beers for Fall
Weihenstephaner Korbinian Dopplebock
The dopplebock is not a style a whole lot of American breweries are making, for some reason, but it’s seemingly tailor-made for autumn imbibing. They’re hugely malty, almost chewy affairs that have hints of dark fruit and, surprisingly, lots of chocolate. This version, from Germany’s Weihenstephaner, hits all the right notes and can be had for about $3. This has been a personal go-to for me of late.
