Where to Go on Brooklyn’s New Restaurant Row
Las Margaritas
If you’re looking for a place that’s slightly nicer, try Las Margaritas across the street. The portions are huge and the prices low, making it hard to complain. Of course, there’s one tiny problem: despite the name, they don’t serve drinks here. The cocktail list next door at Los Pollitos, one of several in the borough, might be the best reason to visit. The food is fine, but Ho’ Brah’s is better, and the last time I went the server seemed so disdainful of me that I tipped him more just because he made me feel so guilty. Bay Ridge might not be Sunset Park, but with these three choices on just a single street, it’s not a terrible alternative.
