Volunteering should NOT look like this. But you will get a cool t-shirt.
The Northside Festival is quickly approaching (mark your calendars for June 13-20) and early bird badges are totally sold out. Bummer! But, we’ll let you in on a secret: you can score a Northside Music badge (valued at a cool $80) for literally no money at all. All that we ask is that you join the Northside Fest team as a volunteer. Intrigued? Read on.
What does a Northside Festival volunteer do? We’re asking for a two day commitment (or 4 half-days) over the 8-day long festival. Plus, we’d like to get to know you at a training session prior to the festival’s start. Throughout the festival, we’ll need Northside volunteers to verify badges at participating festival venues and maintain an accurate count of badge holders at Northside events. Or, you could be assigned to special projects like organizing gift bags, distributing marketing materials, running last-minute errands, etc. And of course, Northside Festival volunteers should be friendly, straightforward and just generally not-jerks. Could that be you?!
So, what do I get? For your trouble, we’ll hook you up with a Northside Music badge (value: $80) of your very own. That’ll get you first-come, first serve access to all Northside Music events (June 13-16). Plus, you’ll have guaranteed entry to The Walkmen and Solange shows on the Converse Rubber Tracks Live Stage at McCarren Park.
