Where’s the Phil Collins Day Parade?
Today is Phil Collins Day. So where’s the parade? For the last several years, Phil Collins Day has been observed in North Brooklyn on February 15—not sure why; his birthday is in January—most memorably in 2011, when there was a parade in Greenpoint. So where’s the parade this year?
Actually, the party this year is in Rockaway, where its organizer moved before the storm. There’ll be a drum circle for “for residents and sympathizers” at the end of B. 112th Street from 3pm until sunset, with hot chocolate and cider.
