Brooklyn Magazine and The L Are Looking for Design Interns
The L and Brooklyn Magazine are seeking a design intern for Winter/Spring! Intern must be able to begin immediately to help with both web/print production on the quickly expanding publications. While internship is unpaid, it presents a great opportunity for hands on experience and portfolio building at not just one, but two, REALLY AWESOME magazines. Here’s everything you need to know:
Responsibilities: Preparing files for web, designing ads/marketing for both publications, rough layouts/image and text placement, implementing edits.
Qualifications: Knowledge of Creative Suite (latest version is a plus, but not required), illustration or photography skills are a plus, ability to self-manage, must be able to commit to one day (8 hours) in office, and be willing to stay late on closing days.
