The Brooklyn Dog Power Rankings

Should you ever need your faith in the value of public radio restored, look no further than WNYC’s truly incredible “Dogs of NYC” feature, which has compiled interactive maps, lists, and guessing games, all based on exhaustive data of, well, dogs of NYC. Or, at least, the 100,000 that are actually registered — thousands more are off the grid, and couldn’t be included. Anyway, this is both a public service and a very, very good use of statistics. Hats off to everyone involved.
However, I think we can make things even more specific, no? Perhaps focus in on the most popular — and thus, most powerful — dogs, in Brooklyn? Of course we can. And we will! Unless you’d actually rather be “doing your job” right now, let’s all pass judgment on some dogs.
