At Home (and Work) with Artist Maya Hayuk
When painting murals in any number of exotic locales across the globe, Maya Hayuk misses her bed, tucked in a tight corner under two strings of Buddhist prayer flags and a world map. Such is the age-old dilemma of not being able to occupy two spaces at the same time. Lucky for Hayuk, her Brooklyn workspace is only a brownstone’s throw away—which is closer than a regular skipping-rock’s—from her Williamsburg apartment.
