Six Perfect Cheap First Dates in Brooklyn for Fall
The Western Slope of the Owl’s Head
Most of Owl’s Head Park in Bay Ridge is a great big hill, an owl’s head if you would, and its southwestern slope faces Upper New York Bay (or is that still the Narrows?) and is one of the best spots in Brooklyn to watch the sunset, second perhaps only to Sunset Park itself (a good pizza-and-a-sixpack spot in its own right). From here, you also look out on the 69th Street pier, which is also a nice place for beer drinkin’, as long as you’re not with someone who gets cold easily, especially this time of year. [photo]
