The Weekender: What to Wear to the Art of Brooklyn Film Festival
The Art of Brooklyn Film Festival has a guiding philosophy not too far from that of Brooklyn Magazine—the week-long ode to cinema keeps things local, showing work by filmmakers who are Brooklyn-born, Brooklyn-based, or Brooklyn-centric. With more than 50 films screening over the course of the week (the festival kicks off Saturday, August 4 and runs through August 12), don’t be surprised if you find yourself spending an inordinate amount of time in a darkened room. But just because no one can see what you’re wearing doesn’t mean you should throw on just anything. Here are two suggestions.
