Mogador Comes to Williamsburg
We actually shrieked with glee when we first learned that East Village institution Café Mogador was opening an outpost in Williamsburg, a neighborhood that’s long been in need of higher-end, sit-down Moroccan food. Mogador’s French-inflected fare, taking cues from the Levant, the souk and the bistro, will be a wonderful oasis amid a desert of new American comfort food (which, we love, but still…). Here’s hoping their world-class brunch also makes the trip across the river. Latest word has the doors opening before Christmas, so here’s hoping.
