SU'JUK, a Great New Clinton Hill Boutique

Upon entering this new Clinton Hill gem, it's easy to think you've left Brooklyn entirely. Owner Su Beyazit describes her store, Su'Juk, as "homey and woodsy," and it definitely has a strong D.I.Y. vibe: the decor is replete with salvaged, repurposed elements, like wood branches used as racks. Su's also brought in furniture from across the south—North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky—to go along with pieces from her neighbor Eddie Hibbert, who guts old brownstones for repurposing. And it all works beautifully.

Beyazit's selection is mostly local designers and primarily womenswear at the moment (menswear and children's selections should arrive shortly), and features new talents like Mandy Kordal (knitwear!) and Rachel Weisberg. She also carries jewelry and great home goods like the Good Candle Brooklyn, vintage movie posters from Europe, and pillows and rugs from Turkey. But the coolest things in the store are Beyazit's personal pieces (she used to sell vintage on Etsy)—trust me, you don't want to miss her floral hippy dresses, chic handbags and her 50s stilettos.
