The Spot: 50 Bags

The Lowdown: Not quite a brand and definitely not a store, this 10 day pop-up shop features just 50 handmade bags from a Korean “sewing master” (who had previously been recruited to sew a comforter for the Queen of Denmark). Each simple, not-canvas tote is reversible, with the color combinations—think fuchsia and aquamarine or pine green and bright yellow—providing a bit of personality. But don’t be deceived: Though there may not be a whole lot of bells and whistles, each bag is extremely durable and machine washable.

The Vibe: The pop-up is in South Williamsburg’s P339 gallery, and you can tell—each tote hangs from the wall and could be taken for a piece of art.

The Details: You’ve got through the weekend to pick one up…unless, that is, all 50 bags sell out before then.

The Buy: It’s really a matter of taste, but we’re fans of the gray-red option ($60).

The Location: P339, 339 Bedford Avenue, Williamsburg.
