Taste Talks Los Angeles Is Here
After successful forays over the past few months for Taste Talks in both Brooklyn and Chicago, along with the Taste Talks Awards, we’re thrilled that Taste Talks Los Angeles has finally arrived! A full weekend of delicious events, including tastings, parties, panels, dinners, and more will begin this evening in the city of angels, and tickets are still available here.
The weekend will kick off tonight with a party at the Hotel Normandie hosted by singer-turned-chef Kelis (you may recall her 2003 hit single, “Milkshake”). The party will focus on arepas and agave, so the columbian snack and tequila drinks are sure to be present in droves.
Throughout the weekend, celebrity master chefs, such as Curtis Stone, Jon Shook, Craig Thornton, Brooke Williamson, Wes Avila, and Nyesha Harrington, among many, many, more will all make appearances, and, of course, a promise to fill your appetite with almost any cuisine imaginable, including a full slate on Saturday (with a brunch, a conference, and a dinner all on the ledger). The conference, which will run for seven hours (10:00 am — 5:00 pm) will cover pretty much anything your culinary mind could come up with, from economics, to recipes, to strategies, to demos, to roundtables.
Sunday looks to close the weekend out with a bang, as it will feature the All-Star BBQ, which will house chefs, bands, and celebrities all making their stakes as true grill masters. A variety of local eateries will be there, along with The Glitch Mob, Free The Robots, KITTEN (Chloe Chaidez), Colleen Green, and more. The festival will close out with an industry party at Mack Sennett Studios, with the proprietors of Badsmaash, along with some delicious pizza.
Tickets for Taste Talks Los Angeles, along with more information, is available here.
