Stars, one of the best Canadian indie bands of our generation, covered Mike Posner’s inescapable EDM downer-anthem and one of our songs of the summer “I Took A Pill In Ibiza” (yes, it’s the Seeb remix, not the acoustic original), and it’s just wonderful. They do a monthly cover series and this is the latest entry; previous renditions include songs like Kanye West’s “Streetlights” and “It Ain’t Me Baby” by a little folk singer named Bob Dylan. This one is the best so far. This is how summer is supposed to sound. Listening to this is better than doing drugs. You’re welcome.
