Hi, gourmands: Monday, January 18 kicks off New York City Restaurant Week 2016, which means you can make reservations for three-course lunches and dinners at hundreds of restaurants throughout the city for $25 and $38. That’s a great deal. I spend more money for two mediocre lunches at Hale and Hearty than it would cost me to get one Restaurant Week three-course lunch, which I could also eat surrounded by friends and in public rather than at my desk.
