We Celebrated the Best of the Culture Issue at Makeshift Society

Earlier this month, we invaded Makeshift Society in Williamsburg to celebrate our annual Culture Issue. In the spirit of the issue’s theme, guests were treated to custom haikus on the topic of their choosing. Inspiration came from topics as diverse as everything bagels and state government. Attendees also posed with giant flowers and balloons all the while sipping on Sapporo Premium beer and grooving to a DJ set from Newtown Radio’s Colin Ilgen (check out their story in the issue here). If you missed the action or if you need to shake off a case of The Mondays, you can listen to Colin’s DJ set here. And be sure to check out our video recap above and some of our favorite moments in the slideshow below!
