Flatbush Mailman Discovered Hoarding 2,500 Pounds of Mail
Live in New York City long enough and you’ll eventually live through every Seinfeld joke there is. (Well, except maybe a few.) In accordance with this principle, a postal worker in Flatbush has been discovered hoarding 2,500 pounds of mail in his home. The mailman in question, Joseph Brucato, is a 67-year-old Vietnam War veteran who suffers from alcoholism and depression, the New York Post reports. The hoarded mail has been removed—a process that took several postal workers several hours to complete—and will now be delivered as best as possible. Brucato has reportedly been suspended with pay.
