Beautiful Photos of Railroad Landscapes Coming to Transit Museum

The words “public transportation” and “beautiful” don’t usually belong in the same sentence, but we’ll make an exception for this photography series coming to the New York Transit Museum.  Photographer John Sanderson traced the tracks of the Metro North and Long Island Railroad through changing seasons, taking large-format pictures of New York State landscapes. The exhibit opens on September 13 and runs until February 1. Check out a sneak peek of Sanderson’s work below.
